POLYURETHANE FOAM – Universal mono-component polyurethane foam for use in the field of construction, for household needs.
PROPERTIES: The foam has a very good adhesion on construction surfaces (on concrete, brick, stone, wood, metal, polystyrene, EPS and XPS plastics, PVC), in addition to polyethylene, Teflon, polypropylene and silicone. It provides thermal insulation and high acoustics, uniform output and homogeneous structure, ensures both dimensional stability after hardening and the flexibility of the fixed elements. It hardens in the presence of moisture in the air, ideal density and filling for various voids and cracks. Resistant to all weather conditions.
INTENDED USE: The product can be used for the installation of doors, windows, perimeter joints around door and window frames, joints between partition walls, ceilings and floors, decorative panels, various roof constructions, as well as for the insulation of electrical pipes and cables, systems thermal and sound insulation etc.
HOW TO USE: Before use, shake the tube well for 30 seconds. Tube-gun application - to screw the gun onto the tube, it is done with the tube position up, pressing the adapter trigger. Manual application - hold the tube with the valve facing upwards and attach the adapter tube. The tube is applied with the valve down. Joints wider and deeper than 4cm must be filled in several successive layers. Application time between layers 15-30min. When installing window and door frames, use spacers and wedges to secure the frame for 24 hours until the foam is fully cured. It can be painted over 1-3 hours after curing. Allow sealer/plaster coating after full cure. Fresh foam can be removed directly using Universal PU-Cleaner. After hardening, you can remove the excess foam with a knife or putty knife.
PREPARATION OF THE SURFACE: The surfaces must be cleaned of dust, dirt and grease. Before each use it is recommended to moisten with water by spraying, to improve adhesion and for effective results.
Storage: Store the tube in a vertical position, at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures higher than +50°C. Protect your eyes and wear gloves and work clothes.
Attention: Container under pressure! Do not puncture or throw the tube into fire, even after use. Contains propellant gas. Do not spray on an open flame. Keep away from ignition sources.
Technical characteristics: Applicable in "cold" seasons -10°C and +30°C. Applicable in "warm" seasons +5°C and +35°C. Drying 15-20 min. Total curing 12-24 hours.
